I can't believe 11 weeks have gone by! This past week marked the end of the "phase 1" workouts. That means that I am finished with those workouts. It's crazy to think about!
So, how did I do in week 11? I think I did pretty good. I knew it was the last time for me to do a few of the workouts, so I really tried to push myself hard. Like I mentioned in my last post, I substituted running for yoga on Thursday. I was worried about my progress since I didn't workout on Saturday. We traveled all day and were in the car for a few hours. However, we walked a TON, so I think that helped a bit. I also was very conscious of what I was eating. Yes, I had to eat fast food, but I was watching portions and calories, etc. Also, to make up for missing a workout on Saturday, I decided to get up and run on Sunday which is usually my rest/recovery/stretch day.
So, here are my results:
Weight ------------------------------------------------- 154.0 lbs.
Body Fat % --------------------------------------------- 17.6%
Water % ------------------------------------------------ 60.1%
I am not back to where I was at one time, but I am moving in the right direction again. I think muscle gain has been to blame a bit.
Let me explain a bit more. Looking back at my progress, at the end of week 7, I had the same exact body fat % and water %, but was 3 pounds less. To me, that means that my weight/mass has grown, but the stats are the same. That is the kind of progress I like to see!
Week 12 (started today) is the last week of the strength training exercises. It is very surreal to think that it feels like I just started the program. Week 13 comprises of core building and stretching exercises. Then the program is over.
I am still debating on how to proceed after p90x is over (at least the 90 days). And on that note, I am outta here! Until next time readers... (yes, all three of you!)
